In October 2017, AICS Roma selected a first list of projects submitted by Italian Municipalities and Regions, in order to confer a new importance to the territorial cooperation. On 17 accepted proposals, 6 projects will be implemented in Palestine, for a total amount of 6 millions of euro.
Comacchio, Torino, Pavia, Prato and Gubbio Municipalities and Umbria Region will be leaders for development projects aiming at developing the touristic sector, treating and managing waste waters, distributing public energy through renewable energies, reinforcing the beekeeping and the aromatic/officinal plants value chain. 4 of these projects will be implemented in Bethlehem and one (Gubbio Municipality) will provide vocational trainings for Jordanian beneficiaries.
